Anyone with lots of highway mileage (say, 20k/year) should be ashamed of themselves if they can’t hit 250k without any major work on a modern car.

first, no fuck way
second, everything I saw (after purchase) sdaid the exact fucking opposite.
third no fucking way
fourth, I had 180,ooo miles and the damn thing was collapsing in every conceivable way. I’m not talking about minor fixes but an engine out overhaul, new clutch complete new suspension system
